I've spent the last 14+ years building teams, leading client engagements, and making cool stuff alongside creatives in the advertising industry. From Fortune 500 brands to local passion projects and just about everything in-between, I've utilized various forms of communication, technology, and mediums to create work that meets and exceeds client expectations in meaningful ways.
The bulk of my career has been spent with a focus on agriculture, food and beverage, and sports marketing. While some might take that to be a boring lane to swim in, it has been anything but. Having grown up in a small Kansas farming community, agriculture and sports have kept my heart close to home even when I'm geographically-distant – and has served as an extremely rewarding creative outlet disguised as a job.
My core discipline is Art Direction, but I’ve made major leaps in my career as a versatile writer, too.
I believe in leading teams with empathy and integrity over ego, and in managing individuals rather than a collective – fostering a culture of teamwork, growth, and fun every step of the way. I pride myself on forming strong relationships with clients based on trust, collaboration, and accountability – and always championing ideas that don't just look good on paper, but that move the needle with their audience.
I've won some awards, but here's what I'm most proud of:
I'm a dad, a husband, a fisherman, a woodworker, a musician, a painter, a sports fan, a terrible golfer, a serial hobbyist, a competitive BBQ chef, a gardener, an antique collector, and a gamer.
I'm eternally grateful to have a career that affords me the opportunity to be all of these things, and the time to enjoy them.
