KEY INSIGHT: KCP&L and Westar were two different companies. Now they’re not, and we don’t want you to freak out when you get a bill from a company you’ve never heard of.

When KCP&L and Westar, two of the nation’s largest regional energy providers, merged in 2019 – I led the creative effort that delivered the message to a customer base of over 3 million. From concept to production and beyond, my team delivered a final product that made an excellent first impression for a new, neighborhood energy provider.

Our media buy and creative strategy, which included all avenues of traditional advertising, and some non-traditional, led to results the client was thrilled with – including 98% brand recall of the new company name via survey within the first 3 months of the campaign.
