KEY INSIGHT: There’s a boatload of money in your old appliances, and your energy company wants to show you just how much.

When KCP&L launched a program that would give customers incentive to replace their old, worn out appliances with energy efficient ones, we helped them spread the word. This campaign was built around the notion that people would be shocked to learn what that old hunk of junk sitting in their garage was worth – we even spoofed the famous “Antiques Road Show” to pull that idea through. The program ended early when our campaign performed so well that the client ran out of incentive money. Oops.
